Today is the 30th Anniversary kickoff party, with Allen Toussaint, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and Roxanne Potvin, and more at the Jack Singer Concert Hall at 8 PM.

My first festival performance is on Wednesday June 24th at the Cathedral Church of the Redeemer downtown Calgary. From noon to 1PM I'll be doing a solo jazz piano recital. I'll play all your favorite standards. And you can request too!!!

My other performance and I'm looking forward to it will be on Sunday June 28th at the main stage on Olympic Plaza downtown and it'll be my quartet with legendary and one of North America's premier saxophonists PJ Perry. Don't miss these sounds of hard swinging be-bop with Rubim De Toledo on bass and Tyler Hornby on drums!

I also will be appearing with one of Calgary's leading saxophone players and host of CJSW 90.9 FM John Reid as a part of his quintet. The show is also at the Olympic Plaza June 27th at noon.

Stay tune for the late night Jazz jam I'll be hosting. The date is to be confirmed shortly.
Aaaand! The Broken City Saturday June 27 3 till 6 I'll be hosting another jazz jam with Johnny Summers and the drummer TBA

Enjoy the 2009 Jazz Festival. It's going to be best ever!
